The staff are always lovely and friendly and helpful. It is always lovely and clean. The food is very nice it has beautiful grounds. The spa is lovely and relaxing and you have the option to use the gym if you are staying at the hotel. The location is also great, I love being close to nature.. Pub at the top of the road and nice places to walk.

The breakfast was great, it had a full English menu and Continental The lady on arrival was very helpful and even changed my room as she realised there might be noise in the room that was booked. She was very kind. The hotel is really beautiful, the views are amazing, and the room was lovely. The hotel was a stately home and has many grand rooms and period features, with modern, comfortable hotel rooms built on.

Friendly welcoming team & receptionist on arrival very knowledgeable on area. Offered an upgrade on arrival very appreciated. Cooked breakfast was well cooked.

Everything. We stay here all the time and love it here. The staff are lovely. We stay in Room 1 and 2 for a certain reason...if you know, you know 👻🫢 . This hotel is steeped in history. We go on our little walkabouts, have a little sit in the library aswell under room 2, its nice and quiet, the staff know why we go there and are really nice, and think we are brave and a bit crackers at same time 😄 we love the Foresters pub along road aswell, lovely locals always made to feel welcome even though we are from north shields we feel like part of the community and the landlady laura always first words are "what Room you staying in and how did it feel when you walked in" haha great atmosphere though. I cant honestly say a bad word about this hotel or the staff, and any review that does say a bad word about it, must not be happy about anything in life, because its the people that make it great ❤️ from wendy and michael.

We absolutely love Hall Garth Hotel, the staff are amazing🙏 and we love the grounds and location. We visit on our night off from work when we can, most Saturday nights now....it's just perfect. Plus the staff know we love the history of the place and why we visit here😇👻. It's an addictive place and we love to spend our Saturday nights here and like to visit the little pub along the road, we feel like locals even though we are from North Shields, everyone makes us feel really welcome. We love it here. We love it so much I nearly shed a tear when it's fully booked the next week when I try to book up and have to miss a week 😢☺️I don't often write reviews however, this place definitely gets my time and energy, they deserve it!! Dinner was well presented, efficient service and tasted really good. All staff happy an courteous, including chamber maids. Our overall experience for our stay was excellent and would recommend you to others that may be visiting the area.

The staff were excellent and showed what good customer service looks like, the food really stood out, they had a great menu for lunch & dinner with plenty of choice. I would Highly recommend this hotel

Lovely reception, bar, restaurant and spa staff. Our room was spotless, quiet and very comfortable. The food was delicious, well presented with generous portions. The spa area was being renovated when we went to get our manicure but we can’t wait to visit the new hot tub area once it’s been finished. We will definitely be back in the new year. Thanks to all staff for making our stay so lovely!
